Mr. Burneyko is a Senior Project Engineer who specializes in Civil Engineering design with experience in Land Development, Stormwater Management, Sewer Design, Soil Erosion and Sediment Control, Permitting and Construction Inspection.
Mr. Burneyko earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology in 1996. As a student, he was a member of Chi Epsilon, the National Civil Engineering Honor Society. Mr. Burneyko holds a license as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of New Jersey. He is an active member of the New Jersey Society of Professional Engineers and is a Former President of the Ocean County Chapter.
In 2013, Mr. Burneyko accepted the New Jersey Alliance for Action Distinguished Engineering Award for his work on the Manahassett Creek Park project in Long Branch, New Jersey. For that same project, he was featured in Stormwater Magazine’s June 2017 issue, in which he discussed the stormwater upgrades and other services provided.
Mr. Burneyko is the father of two and is involved with his local church. In the summer of 2013, through the Ocean County Society of Professional Engineers, he partnered with the Ottawa Chapter of the Professional Engineers Ontario and the Church of Visitation Relief Center to volunteer for a Hurricane Sandy relief mission in Brick, NJ. Mr. Burneyko also volunteers at the annual Ocean County Mathcounts competition. In his spare time, he is an avid fan of hockey, minor league baseball, football and music.
