Mr. Dunne is a Project Manager/Construction Inspector in the Community Association department with over 21 years of experience in construction and construction management, construction inspection, and engineering services. His background includes being the senior construction inspector for an engineering firm dealing with civil construction projects throughout the Northeast, with responsibilities of overall project management, field coordinating, and maintaining project scheduling. Mr. Dunne’s extensive history in both construction and engineering services has enabled him to become an essential part of the DW Smith Community Association Services team.

Mr. Dunne is involved in the preparation of expert reports, inspections, and identifying construction related issues both efficiently and expeditiously. His expertise in construction matters has helped him to recognize issues relating to residential, commercial, and civil projects, including but not limited to water intrusion, foundations, concrete construction, framing, electrical, plumbing, roofing, siding, paving, and drainage. Mr. Dunne has prepared and reviewed bid documents, specifications, site plans, subdivision plans, and construction plans.

Mr. Dunne holds and maintains certifications in American Concrete Institute (ACI) Concrete Field Testing Technician-Grade 1 and Concrete Construction Technologist, Society of Asphalt Technologists (SAT), OSHA, and National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) Level II in Transportation Engineering Technology – Highway Construction. He is currently working towards obtaining his New Jersey Building Inspector Residential and Commercial Specialist (RCS).

Mr. Dunne is married and is the father of three. His hobbies include golf, cooking, and custom woodworking.
