DW Smith Associates, LLC Presents Engineering Scholarship

Farmingdale, NJ (June 2014)—DW Smith Associates Project Engineer Jason Burneyko, PE, presented the Donald W. Smith Scholarship to one of the two recipients at the Ocean County College Awards Ceremony held on May 21, 2014.

Mr. Burneyko, who is serving as President of the Ocean County Society of Professional Engineers (OCSPE) for the 2014-2015 term, also presented awards at the event on behalf of the OCSPE. He noted that he is “proud to have been elected to the OCSPE and honored to have been able to deliver these awards to future leaders in engineering.”

DW Smith Associates Project Engineer Jason Burneyko, PE presented a scholarship award to Deividas Zemgulys at the Ocean County College Awards Ceremony on May 21, 2014. Deividas will be continuing his education at Rutgers University, majoring in Engineering.

DW Smith Associates established the Donald W. Smith Scholarship through the Ocean County College Foundation. Two $500 scholarships are awarded annually to students continuing education in the areas of engineering, surveying, planning, landscape design or environmental services. The scholarship recipients are chosen by the college’s engineering department.
